Mine Tycoon gives you a pickaxe in a blocky world. Dirt, stone and ore all break block by block, and the right tool is faster. You sell what you dig to market villagers, fill their orders and spend the money on new pickaxes, shovels and axes at the forge.
The mine expands from a small pit to a huge quarry 96 blocks deep, with iron, gold, diamonds, emeralds and geodes to find as you go deeper. Controls on PC are WASD to move, Space to jump, the mouse to look, and holding the left mouse button to dig, plus TNT and an inventory. The loop of dig, sell, upgrade and dig deeper is a satisfying one, and the 3D blocky look makes it easy to see your progress.
The loop of digging, selling and buying tools is easy to follow, and the villagers' orders give the digging extra purpose. Choosing when to use TNT and when to hand-dig is a small decision that speeds up reaching the deeper ores of the 96-block mine.
How to play Mine Tycoon
Dig the mine, sell the loot and get richer. On PC, use WASD to move, Space to jump and the mouse to look around. Hold the left mouse button on a block to dig, press E for the inventory, T to blow up TNT and H to climb out of the mine.

- Upgrade your pickaxe early; it speeds up everything.
- Sell often so you can afford the next tool.
