Level Once Again is a puzzle platformer built around a single joke: the same room, the same door, but a new trick every time. Floors drop, spikes appear and doors run away. Veer is trying to rescue Tara from Kaal, and you guide him through 100 handcrafted rooms in four worlds, with seven bosses along the way.
The first three rooms are easy and then every room is a trap, which gives the game its personality. You learn by failing, and fast restarts keep the cycle quick. A Hint button is there when you cannot work out the trick, and it also supports gamepads and on-screen buttons on mobile. It is a good fit for players who like troll-style platformers and enjoy working out what a room is going to do next.
The best way to enjoy the game is to treat each room as a small mystery: observe, fail, then solve. The hint button prevents you from getting stuck for too long, and fast restarts keep the pace brisk. The story across four worlds gives the trap rooms a purpose.
How to play Level Once Again
Move with the left and right arrows or A and D. Jump with Space, W or Up. Press R to restart, H for a hint, M to mute and Esc or P to pause. With a gamepad, A jumps, Y gives a hint, Select restarts and Start pauses. On mobile, use the on-screen left, right and jump buttons.
Tips for Level Once Again
- Assume the safe-looking route is a trap and test it carefully.
- Restart immediately after a mistake; each attempt teaches you something.
- Use Hint only after you have tried a few ideas of your own.
