4 in a Blow keeps the familiar Connect 4 rules and adds a power meter that fills with each turn. You can spend it on blocking a column, swapping two tokens, removing one or dropping two tokens in a row.
One rule keeps the game balanced: a power can never be the move that wins. That means you still have to build a real line of four.
It is easy to start and rewards planning your power use.
