Flume (V2)

Our take on Flume (V2)

Reviewed by the LetsPlayFree editors ·

Flume is an endless runner set inside a half-pipe. Its core idea is that speed keeps you alive, since the faster you travel, the longer you survive. You steer a ball around the curve, avoid obstacles and fill a boost bar to trigger a burst of speed.

There are three difficulty levels, a simple tutorial and a racing mode in which you try to beat your own past speed and score. As you get higher scores you unlock new balls. Controls are minimal: left and right to steer, with Space or a tap to boost. The 3D look and the sense of speed make it a quick, replayable score chaser.

The sense of speed is the game's main draw, so the best approach is to stay near the center and use the boost bar when obstacles cluster. Three difficulty levels let you pick a pace, and the unlockable balls give a small collection goal.

How to play Flume (V2)

On a keyboard, steer with A and D or the left and right arrows, press Space to boost when the bar is full, Esc or P to pause and R to restart. On touch screens, hold the left or right side of the screen to steer and tap the BOOST bar when it fills.
