Geometry Vibes 3D takes the one-button, rhythm-timed platforming of the original and moves it into a colorful 3D world. The levels are described as fully reimagined rather than copied, so returning players will not be repeating old routes. If you have never tried the original, the idea is easy to grasp: jump over obstacles in time with the track.

A two-player mode is the standout extra. Player 1 jumps with W, the left mouse button or the space bar, while Player 2 uses the up arrow key, so two people can share one keyboard and compete to see who clears a section first. On a phone you simply tap anywhere to jump, so it plays well on touch screens too. Expect a game built on memorizing sections and getting the timing right on the next attempt.

The two-player option changes the feel of the game completely: instead of memorizing a level alone, you and a friend can compare reactions and race to the end. Learning the beat of each section is the main skill, and short attempts mean you can practice a tricky stretch many times in a few minutes.
